WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Thank you for your help (and patience) in choreographing our wedding dance.  The routine was just as we’d hoped for and we had such great comments following the dance.  Adam’s parents were even inspired to start dancing!  Liz & Adam

We got Isla’s first report from secondary school on Friday and she got ‘exceeding the expected standard’ in music!  Well done to you Mark.  Your hard work and passion for teaching certainly shows in her results and desire to learn!  Thank you.  Gemma

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful dance lessons Alessia has taken part in – she has enjoyed them so much and we are delighted at her progress!  We will certainly be finding her a new dance class once we move, but I am not sure anywhere will be able to top The Music & Dance Journey.

It’s the end of an era for the girls, another grown up milestone reached – Friday evenings free and no more dance classes.  It seems a long time ago since the girls came up through the junior classes and said farewell to other friends who didn’t want to dance anymore.  They have stuck together and possibly made friendships for life. Both of you have a very special place in our hearts, teaching our daughter to use her talents, enthusiasm and experience to become a more rounded performer and to be confident to shine and to…

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you have done for me over the years.  I definitely wouldn’t be the person I am now without those 14½ years I spent as one of your students.  You have taught me so much and I will definitely be continuing to practice my keyboard at home as well as hopefully pursuing my dancing.

Steve and I both think you are really wonderful with J.  He’s really struggling at school and works below age in several areas.  The fact that J looks forward to your lessons and sticks to it even though he finds it difficult, makes me really proud of him, but we’re also grateful he’s found an amazing teacher that works with his learning style and brings out the best in him.

Thank you so much for organising last Saturday’s dance in Kirton Town Hall. As with all the dances we’ve attended, Andy and I thoroughly enjoy our evening and do feel that we are all developing lovely friends within our groups. With every good wish and thank you again.

Just a quick note of thanks for your support of the annual Christmas event – it really is appreciated. The performances were fantastic and really captured the spirit of the event. Thanks again and please pass on my congratulations to the performers.

As a non-musical Mother, I did not fully understand what music entailed or indeed what other profound benefits it could give to my child. The basic ones, I picked up on within weeks of Grace starting: learning how to play a new instrument and musical terminology, discipline, creativity, listening, self expression and relaxation. However, the ones I hadn’t expected were: problem solving, posture, empathy and appreciation of others, confidence, sociability, memory skills, maths, visualisation, composing and even history! You don’t have to be good at these to start learning music; these are just the things…
